We make no profit from delivery charges which covers postage and packaging. But for the service you will receive we think it is very good value for money. Postage costs calculated by our website are as follows, but we reserve the right to surcharge heavy shipments with your consent.

Delivery

Alex Reade.net has a gold contract with Royal Mail that ensures a reliable and fast delivery service for your purchased goods.

Please note - all consignments will have to be signed for both at home and abroad and are fully insured for your peace of mind.

Delivery time aims for the services we use are as follows:

UK orders are shipped for next day delivery (excluding certain postcodes )

Western Europe - 3 days

Rest of Europe - 4 days

Rest of World - 5 days

In the unlikely event that there is going to be a holdup in getting your purchase to you (postal strikes etc) we endeavor to let you know as soon as we can using the emails and telephone numbers on your order form. Please therefore ensure that these details are correct.

When ordering goods from Alex Reade.net for overseas destinations outside of the ECC, you will be subject to import/ customs duties and taxes. This varies from country to country and is not included in the price fo the goods.  We have no control over these charges and as such will not be held responsible for any charges levied.  You, the buyer, is liable for any local taxes.  Please check with your local import office for information on import charges.

Packaging

We are very proud of our award-winning packaging service. Breakages in transit cost money and so we have developed our packaging skills to the point where this problem no longer exists. Mint condition delivery is thus guaranteed.
